Pleurotus columbinus tissue is culture supplied on Malt extract and Agar (MEA) in a 90mm petri dish. Culture orders are all started FRESH and will take approximately 2 weeks to produce, depending on the volume of orders currently in processing.

Pleurotus is a genus of gilled mushrooms, which includes one of the most widely eaten mushrooms being Pleurotus ostreatus. Species of Pleurotus may be called Oyster Mushroom, Oyster Shelf, Tree Oyster and Straw Mushroom, and are some of the most commonly cultivated edible mushrooms in the world. In Japan, they are called Hiratake or Tamogitake. Blue Oyster is an astoundingly beautiful mushroom. It does prefer colder weather, so be sure to give this species a try in winter.
