Spawn orders have an approximate 1 week lead time...how cool is this?! We now carry stock of over 15 species of grain spawn. Please note that we only send spawn via courier on Mondays and Tuesdays (not applicable to collections or sending your own courier), to manage goods arriving prior to a weekend and so that it does not lie in a warehouse over a weekend. This is also due to our standard courier being Economy Service with The Courier Guy, and is 2-3 days from collection.

- Hypsizygus ulmarius -

Hypsizygus ulmarius grain spawn is supplied on Red Sorghum in a 2kg Polypropylene autoclave patch bag. Hypsizygus ulmarius is also known as the Elm or White oyster mushroom, and less commonly as the Elm Leech, elm Pleurotus. It has often been confused with oyster mushrooms in the Pleurotus genus but can be differentiated easily as the gills are either not decurrent or not deeply decurrent.

Fruiting Temperature: 14-20°C
Relative Humidity: 85-90%
Recommended substrate: barely or wheat straw
